Reflecting on 2010 – Sports
This is a 1917 Hall-Scott. I snapped this shot while working on the tech-crew for the Monterey Historics at Laguna Seca.
Late 60′s Alfa GT’s have always been my favorite cars. I’m a big fan of sedans like the 510, Cortina, 2002, RT43, and of course the AE86, but the Alfas have always stood alone as the sexiest sedan ever made. Good lawd!
I LOVE shooting people skating. 2011 needs to have 10x the skate-shooting as 2010.
That’s our friend Kia on the right. Not only is Kia an awesome skateboarder, he used to drift a J30
and he is the proprietor of the best Subaru shop in the SF bay area, TD Garage.
Here’s Jared Thompson drifting a go kart at Infineon Raceway. Jared is a motorsports nut. He instructs for Russell Racing school, drifts in the TD ProAm series, races in the NASA 25hr enduro, and more. This dude’s got cars on the brain.
Andy Gillespie killing it in his special “Nissan edition” Miata
Forrest Wang swinging the drift emporium G35 at FD Long Beach
Noah Welch makes a big splash on the TD Drift-Pad
FFFFFANTASTICO Fabian Fernandez! …as Jarod DeAnda likes to refer to him, doing a big burnout before hitting the drift course at Irwindale during FD’s 2010 ProAm Nationals.
This is one of my favorite tilt-shift pics. Drivers lined up at the starting line in front of a beautiful sunset at FD Vegas ’10.
Clean looking Porsche I shot at Thunderhill during a NASA club race.
Here’s my little brother, Graeme, bombing down the hill during a Pro-DH race at Laguna Seca’s annual bike event, Sea Otter. Shooting on 35mm film, I was very pleased with this picture.
and another! Digital this time, with a rented 24mm F1.4L. Bicycles are very difficult to do panning shots on because every part of the bike/rider is moving at different speeds!
Hope you enjoyed! and I really hope you didn’t think this was too long, because it’s only about 1/3rd as long as my 2 larger sets.
