Ross Petty x Ron Paul?
Matt Ulfelder from Socal was over at the FD Tech Day yesterday and got some photos of Ross Petty’s S15 for us. Have a look at his Guestblast!

I went to Formula Drift Tech Day at the Source Interlink office in Irvine today. A good handful of competing drivers showed up with their cars for their tech inspection before the season starts. I had the pleasure speaking with Ross Petty about his new paint scheme.
Ross has always turned some heads when it comes to his unique red, green, and gold schemes, but this one blew all of his past paint jobs out of the water.
One of the Boso workers told me, “We loved what we did to the S15 in terms of paint schemes last year and the year before, but we needed to do one better this time.”
This year Petty is sporting some very interesting vinyl. One being his Ron Paul Revolution 2012 sticker, the second being Infowars.com, and he third is, according to Ross, something that I was the only one to correctly guess what it was. We never really came up with an official name for the graphic, but we just referred to it as the “MP5 Megaphone Guy.” It seems Ross is getting pretty political this season with the elections coming up in November. Maybe Petty’s performance this season will affect Ron Paul’s stance in the election. Who Knows?
I noticed one thing about his car, but I never spoke with him about it.
His S15 has no logos of his sponsors. The Ron Paul and Infowars.com vinyls are there just because Ross wanted to represent them. The only company vinyl I noticed was Garage Boso, Brian Crower, and Clutch Masters. That being said, I am unsure if Ross is even driving for Falken this season. He WAS sporting some Falken Azenis though, so I really have no idea what his position with Falken is at this point in time.
I love what Boso has done to the S15 for this season. Long Beach better be prepared for what Ross Petty has to offer!

Fucking love it. Definitely tip my hat to Ross/Boso for getting behind Ron Paul like that. Much like Dr. Paul, Ross is a guy that everyone would love to count out, and he has a way of getting right back in the fight

Hated the paint back in the teaser shots. After full graphics it looks pretty dope. I might toss a RP sticker somewhere too just for kicks. Good luck Ross!

Dope ass design. I wonder what the standpoint is on the Ron Paul 2012 and no sponsors. I can’t imagine any sponsors would want to be tied to any political party of that sort when it comes to representation.
