I stopped by Jordan Innovations last week to check out the progress on Jeff Jordan's widebody FD. He's been working on the project for a few years, going through different body kits, but now he's super serious with a super rare BRS GT widebody kit, which is modeled after the JGTC アスパラドリンク GT300 car.

Last Wednesday I was hanging out with Larry, and we went over to FSR in Montclair to check out Fredric Aasbø's Supra. I hadn't seen his Supra since Irwindale 2010 so I was excited to see what they were doing to it!

Larry had to do a feature on the car for Speedhunters, but Fredric wasn't done doing stuff to it yet, and then it had to get…

Yesterday I had the opportunity to shoot footage for a bunch of Hankook videos. Conrad Grunewald, Chris Forsberg, Ken Gushi, and Fredric Aasbø would all be out at WSIR testing their cars and doing photoshoots. The models were going to be there too. How could I say no to something like that?

I met up with Conrad the day…

When Pacific Northwest Original Gangsters (OGs, if you will) Rob Primozich and Ian Dillon invited me up to see the new livery being applied to Rob's 2JS14, they hardly imagined I would make the drive up from Oregon for the occasion, but once Little Caesars and Coors Light entered the equation, I couldn't say no. I'm an A-goddamn-murican after all. Needless to say, they were surprised and delighted that I made the journey all the way to Northern Washington and rewarded my…

Long Beach is only two weeks away, and a lot of teams are scrambling to get their cars ready in time. Conrad needed new graphics so I went down to his personal shop in Monterey to make that happen. This year's design is only a little bit different from last year's, but it's still a good amount of work to get it all done. Taking vinyl off can actually take longer than putting it on, depending on what it was stuck to.

No story about drifting in Norcal would be complete without several chapters on Altamont Raceway. This is the track that brought drifting to the Bay Area's attention, and it's where several drivers go their start and where future teammates met each other for the first time. Without Altamont, Norcal drifting would definitely not be where it is today.

As some of you know, our long awaited Tandem of Die x Attack Works Zombie Unicorn t-shirts have finally come in. Justin and I had planned to hire a model to wear our shirt in a photoshoot to help promote it.

Ryan Davis was kind enough to let use…

As we begin our 2012 adventures, I thought it would be worth looking over our first year, seeing how we've progressed and if anything needs to be reevaluated. We learned a lot for sure, and for sure there's a lot more to learn.

As many of you already know, Geoff and I came up with the concept while driving through Yosemite on the way to Las Vegas last year. He was shooting for Works Magazine…

While digging through thousands (okay, hundreds maybe) of my photos from this year, I came upon this conclusion: I need to either take way more photos or stop altogether. That being said, here is a compilation of not the greatest photos, but rather the greatest moments of 2011 that I happened to capture with my picture taking device. Shown above is an upset Chinese toddler whose stupid mother purchased the wrong flavor instant soup.…

Welcome friends, to my retrospective post on 2011. That special time of year when I reflect on all the adventures I had a part in, and
get to go through heaps and heaps of photos which ends up being an adventure all on its own. This year I came to a few realizations during the quest for my best photos, one of which was a disappointing one. I need to be more careful when deleting files. I won't cry on and on about how my favorite photos from this year were lost…

In all of our travels throughout the last twelve months, a handful of photos stands out from the rest. Many end up as wallpapers. A few never make it into posts. But when digging through a hard drive, they're the ones you keep coming across that make you say "Damn! This one is awesome!" These are those photos.

December 2010: On the remote northwestern tip of Maui, I waited in a light,…

Once upon a time in Oakland, I went with the boys from Performance Options to a rap video shoot on Mare Island, a decommissioned military facility north of the SF Bay Area. Wait a moment... let me do some explaining to prepare you for what you're about to read before I continue. This may prove to be the most difficult to understand article you've ever…

As soon as I got back from Thunderhill it was time to cut Luke's new graphics since his car is going to SEMA. After Irwindale he got some new body panels and took the car over to the body shop to get it fixed up and painted. We decided on Torch Red this time, which is a factory Corvette color.

Competition day finally came around. Team America's cars had only arrived on the previous day, but everyone was able to get their cars running fine before the event started.

Ross took his bike out on the track to check it out.
