When Pacific Northwest Original Gangsters (OGs, if you will) Rob Primozich and Ian Dillon invited me up to see the new livery being applied to Rob's 2JS14, they hardly imagined I would make the drive up from Oregon for the occasion, but once Little Caesars and Coors Light entered the equation, I couldn't say no. I'm an A-goddamn-murican after all. Needless to say, they were surprised and delighted that I made the journey all the way to Northern Washington and rewarded my…

I first encountered Matt Madrigali's S13 when it was up at Luke Lonberger's Mountain Shop above Los Gatos in 2008. It didn't look too different from how it looks now, but Luke was working on the engine and fuel system as fast as Matt could pay for it.

Matt bought the car in 2007 already painted and with the widebody already…

Welcome friends, to my retrospective post on 2011. That special time of year when I reflect on all the adventures I had a part in, and
get to go through heaps and heaps of photos which ends up being an adventure all on its own. This year I came to a few realizations during the quest for my best photos, one of which was a disappointing one. I need to be more careful when deleting files. I won't cry on and on about how my favorite photos from this year were lost…

Every few months Frank Siharath from Garage Boso comes up to Performance Options in Oakland to do some ECU tuning on NorCal cars. This time, Pat Mordaunt drove up with Frank and took a few moments from his busy day to let me interview him. Thanks Pat!

Meet Sam Mercado. He's an artist in Puerto Rico who decided to get in the tee shirt game. He's also into drifting, which is what led him to becoming a fan of Justin Shreeve's videos. One day, he hit up Justin on Facebook to see what Justin thought of his artwork. Justin checked out Sam's site, AttackWorks.net, and was blown away with the awesomeness.

Aaron used to drift. When the time came for him to grow up, he chose to move on to death machines of the two wheeled variety, and picked up this 1970 Honda CL450.

Here at Life Blasters we bring you a pretty wide variety of stuff. We're all photographers in the automotive industry, but this isn't about that. Sure we cover a lot of car events, but the essence of Life Blasting happens off the track, behind the scenes, on the way to or from an event, at your house, or on vacation. Life Blasting is about attacking life…

My dad had wanted to go shoot Yosemite for a while now, and my sister-in-law's wedding reception was the perfect twobirdsonestone.com reason for coming to California. I was excited to go back to Yosemite, as I hadn't been in the valley since 1999. Life Blasters was born last year in Yosemite, but that was up on Highway 120, not in the valley where all the famous stuff is. Yosemite Valley is probably one of the most photographed places on earth, so I
wasn't super excited to…

A few months ago my wife told me her sister Mahn got married. "Oh, cool. Tell her thanks for inviting us," I said. I guess it was a small ceremony but the big reception hadn't happened yet, and we were invited to that. "Ah, okay," I said. They already had an official photographer, but I brought my stuff along anyway. Besides, with no responsibilities I was free to shoot whatever I wanted.

A few Fridays ago I went up to visit my friend Kiavash Shariloo at his Subaru shop, TD Garage. Kia had a cool new motorcycle project going on, and I wanted to get pictures of all the disassembled parts before he sends them out to chrome/powdercoat.

So a lot of my friends are DJs. Kid Conrad and Mike Sincere are two of them.

Kid Conrad started DJ in Las Vegas a few years ago and has got himself a pretty solid base. In the time I'm know him he's gone from DJing random gigs when he could with his dayjob to being a Resident (fulltime)DJ at two different…

If you're a serious photographer, chances are you've ordered stuff from B&H. Unlike most online stores, B&H actually has a real store you can go to. In fact, it's the biggest camera store in the world.

Formula Drift's 4th round was another crazy one for me. Working with the Kado crew meant an awesome road-trip to cover, and another event of not being able to shoot while Ryan is driving due to my spotting for him. In addition, the weather gods made the trip
very interesting both at the track, and out on the open road.
Check out Bohan's news flash from right after the storm hit… Read More

Fuzz Shreeve is a popular character among members of the professional drift media, but few of them have actually had the chance to meet him. On our recent blastertrip to Medford, Oregon, we not only had a chance to meet Fuzz, we also took a moment of his time to get this interview. Bohan was super stoked, exclaiming "YES! We get to meet Fuzz!" but I mistakenly thought he said "We get two meat phởs!" haha. Remember, you saw it on LifeBlasters FIRST!
