As if one whole day of getting dusted every minute by rally cars wasn't enough, they decided rallies should go all weekend...hey I wasn't complaining! This stuff is fun as hell.

After…

The Oregon Trail Rally is the first of two west coast stops for the Rally America championship. I'd been wanting to attend this rally for years, but somehow never got the chance. Well, since Life Blasters is increasing its motorsports coverage this year, I figured I'd better finally go.

I met up with Alex…

The rain was all but a memory as everyone dragged themselves back to the GP circuit for the third day. The ALMS teams had packed up and gone, leaving their paddock empty save a smattering of show cars and classic Ferraris. But excitement was still in the air, as the weekend's main event was still to come: The 38th running of the Long Beach Grand Prix.

As if the awesomeness on Friday wasn't enough, I went back for more on Saturday! I was disappointed that it was no longer raining, but sun meant no cancelled sessions. I had World Challenge and Indy Lights practice to look forward too, as well as drifting, Indy practice, and qualifying, before the main event of the day: the American Le Mans race.

I woke up late on Friday morning to a torrential downpour and a bunch of amazing rain racing photos on Facebook. Not wanting to miss my chance to get my own amazing rain racing photos, we rushed down to Long Beach just in time to find a bunch of cancelled practice and qualifying sessions. Bummer.

Based in a large but unassuming brick warehouse in the suburbs of Dallas, LG Motorsports is dominating the Corvette aftermarket. Lou Gigliotti (LG, get it?) turned his lifelong passion for racing into a thriving parts and tuning business, which both enables, and gains notoriety from, his continued racing endeavors. I first met Lou at Willow Springs, when he was…

As part of our quest to bring you more motorsports coverage in 2012, one of our fans volunteered to cover Rally America's Sno*Drift Rally this past weekend in Michican. Eric Delaney, a photojournalism student at Eastern Michigan University, loves racing and loves Life Blasters, so we decided to give him a shot! See what you guys think! .:Bohan

While digging through thousands (okay, hundreds maybe) of my photos from this year, I came upon this conclusion: I need to either take way more photos or stop altogether. That being said, here is a compilation of not the greatest photos, but rather the greatest moments of 2011 that I happened to capture with my picture taking device. Shown above is an upset Chinese toddler whose stupid mother purchased the wrong flavor instant soup.…

Welcome friends, to my retrospective post on 2011. That special time of year when I reflect on all the adventures I had a part in, and
get to go through heaps and heaps of photos which ends up being an adventure all on its own. This year I came to a few realizations during the quest for my best photos, one of which was a disappointing one. I need to be more careful when deleting files. I won't cry on and on about how my favorite photos from this year were lost…

If you've never been to a long endurance race before, you're missing out. At 25 hours, NASA's annual enduro at Thunderhill is the longest in the world. Though it's mostly amateur teams running, there's no shortage of excitement, skill, determination, perseverance, hard work, and hard decisions.

Right in the middle of my
Epic Thanksgiving Geoff and I shot down south for the Bob's Donuts Annual Day After Thanksgiving Trackday at Buttonwillow. I've been going to this event since 2005 but it's been happening way longer than that. It never fails to be one of the funnest trackdays of the year.

I made my way back to the track and got there just in time for the first time attack session of the day. The racing surface had dried out and I finally got to see Chris Rado's new TC. I'm actually surprised they haven't banned the ridiculous front wing yet. I guess no one has complained about it yet, so he got to leave it on and set the Unlimited FF class record at 1:45.116. …

The other day I was chilling at Blu808 and Luke said to me, "Hey, we're doing Global Time Attack at Infineon!" "Cool," I said. "I'll be there." So today I drove up to Sears Point to catch my first time attack since earlier this year when Redline was at WSIR. I don't know the whole story behind RTA's demise (it
is really gone, isn't it?) but I'm happy another series has filled the empty…

Ahhh SEMA, that once a year excuse to go to Vegas that has nearly everyone in the automotive industry working overtime for weeks. The paint on some of the cars is only days old when they show up at the convention center, and the whole place is buzzing with news of all the new things happening in 2012.
