In Part 1 we showed you what was in the Festival Pavillion. Now in our fourth and final installment of our Wekfest coverage, we'll show you there were just as many cars right next to it in Herbst Pavillion!

Last year I shot Wekfest exclusively with my
300, mostly because I had just gotten it. But it also forces you to change your perspective and see things most show-goers don't see. And it's just funny to see people's reactions when they see me walking around a car show with such a ridiculous piece…

The cars are cool, but for us, it's usually the people that make an event fun and memorable. Wekfest is usually the first event of the year where we get reunited with our out-of-town photog buddies and see all our local friends in one place.

It's February, and that means Wekfest! It's one of the only car shows any of us go to, so we're making this coverage huge! The show was at Fort Mason for the second time, but I still miss the old days when it was in Japantown. Oh well, times change, so without further ado...

Welcome friends, to my retrospective post on 2011. That special time of year when I reflect on all the adventures I had a part in, and
get to go through heaps and heaps of photos which ends up being an adventure all on its own. This year I came to a few realizations during the quest for my best photos, one of which was a disappointing one. I need to be more careful when deleting files. I won't cry on and on about how my favorite photos from this year were lost…

We set up for the Bay Area's premier bad weather BBQ at
Luke Lonberger's shop, Blu808 in Campbell. Previous WinterQs have all been hosted at Lab17 in Hayward and Fremont, so we knew hosting the party so much closer to the equator would have serious effects on attendance.

2011's SF Auto Show was
awesome. All the manufacturers had their newest models on display in a setting where you could climb all over them, press all the buttons, and play with all the gadgets. The show also featured a vintage car collection from the Academy of Art University which was truly breathtaking.

Insert Coin(s) is the most
awesome bar I have ever been to. After being introduced to it by
Jarod DeAnda earlier this year during Formula DRIFT Vegas, I had to go back for more. After the events that transpired on this night, I don't think I'll…

Ahhh SEMA, that once a year excuse to go to Vegas that has nearly everyone in the automotive industry working overtime for weeks. The paint on some of the cars is only days old when they show up at the convention center, and the whole place is buzzing with news of all the new things happening in 2012.

Here at Life Blasters we bring you a pretty wide variety of stuff. We're all photographers in the automotive industry, but this isn't about that. Sure we cover a lot of car events, but the essence of Life Blasting happens off the track, behind the scenes, on the way to or from an event, at your house, or on vacation. Life Blasting is about attacking life…

If you don't know me, you probably don't know that I'm in the long, drawn-out process of buying a house right now. While this process takes place, I've been staying with friends around the bay area. For the month of August my friend Yusef was kind enough…

A few Fridays ago I went up to visit my friend Kiavash Shariloo at his Subaru shop, TD Garage. Kia had a cool new motorcycle project going on, and I wanted to get pictures of all the disassembled parts before he sends them out to chrome/powdercoat.

With so many Japanese cars having two-digit numerical components to their chassis codes, it's a wonder only the Toyota AE86 (mid 80s Corolla) owners celebrate the appropriate day. Every year on 8/6, AE86 owners from around the world get all riled up, the blogs post photos of famous or interesting AE86's, and many enthusiasts get together at meets like the one Rick Cunanan of SlideYourRide throws every year.
This year the meet was at One Toyota of Oakland, and many of the big names…

Today was Blu808's annual summer BBQ, and Luke partnered up with Proper Styles to throw the biggest bash to date. The parking lot was completely packed, and I parked blocking someone in. As soon as I did that, someone blocked me in. I was gonna stay a while anyway, so whatever.

I promptly found…
