May 6th, 2011, marked the first day drifting has ever been allowed on the Jackson County Sports Park kart track, located in White City, Oregon, since its opening in 1996. What I'll miss about metal quarter panels is rubbing off the excess sidewall when running fresh tires and seeing the looks on the faces of concerned pedestrians and drivers alike. I've traveled the country more than ever, following the Formula Drift Series, and have even found my way overseas to Rudskogen, Norway for Gatebil and Tianjin, China for the World Drift Series.
