On Saturday morning in Long Beach, the drivers, crews, media, staff, and fans gathered next to the convention center to see who would take home the season's first win. Could Justin Pawlak do it two years in a row? Would 2011 champ Daijiro Yoshihara continue his momentum and take the win? Would Chris Forsberg's new 370 be a help or a hindrance in its first competition?…

While digging through thousands (okay, hundreds maybe) of my photos from this year, I came upon this conclusion: I need to either take way more photos or stop altogether. That being said, here is a compilation of not the greatest photos, but rather the greatest moments of 2011 that I happened to capture with my picture taking device. Shown above is an upset Chinese toddler whose stupid mother purchased the wrong flavor instant soup.…

Welcome friends, to my retrospective post on 2011. That special time of year when I reflect on all the adventures I had a part in, and
get to go through heaps and heaps of photos which ends up being an adventure all on its own. This year I came to a few realizations during the quest for my best photos, one of which was a disappointing one. I need to be more careful when deleting files. I won't cry on and on about how my favorite photos from this year were lost…

What a year 2011 has been. It's been such a privilege to be a part of the Life Blasters crew, and I can't wait for what 2012 holds in store for us. My first Life Blasters post was on the PGP event in March, so I think I'll start with that. Jason Cancio has probably my absolute favorite car that drives that track. Not for its JDM radness, but for its pure originality. Stock metal, stock wheels, stock aero, slammed rwd STi hatch cannot lose.…

After a last minute engine-out job on my S14 at Luke Lonberger's shop, Blu808, I was ready for the trip to FD Evergreen. I started the voyage by picking up my blaster pal Joe Ayala at his swanky apartment in San Francisco at 6:00am on Tuesday.

The first…

Happy Holidays from everyone here at LifeBlasters! You might be spending this three day weekend kicking back and enjoying some BBQ, and time with family & friends, but here at LifeBlasters and Lab17 the work never stops. Today Drew and I put up drywall in the garage of his newly purchased home in Hayward, and now we're at the Lab working our butts off before tomorrow's TD ProAm Round 3. We've made windshield banners, number plates, hard cards, LB…

Formula Drift's 4th round was another crazy one for me. Working with the Kado crew meant an awesome road-trip to cover, and another event of not being able to shoot while Ryan is driving due to my spotting for him. In addition, the weather gods made the trip
very interesting both at the track, and out on the open road.
Check out Bohan's news flash from right after the storm hit… Read More

Whew! The past 2 months have been non-stop excitement for me, and the LB crew in general. As you can see in the above picture, I was not only LifeBlasting, I was working for young pro drifter Ryan Kado as a spotter. Business Geoff. This post is going to be a little weird... I initially thought to just do a text-free photoblog ala

So... Apparently @Joe Ayala lost all of his photos of the second part of our journey in Atlanta, so I'm going to have to hold up this post on my own. I apologize beforehand for the sub par photo quality, but Joe Ayala is a punk bitch. Anyway, according to our friend Will Roegge, no trip to Atlanta is complete without a stop by Daddy Dz' Bar-B-Q Joynt. Before we headed to the airport to go home, we made a detour downtown to the infamous BBQ spot and this was our first impression.…

Last Sunday, Will Roegge and I made a trip over to GTI in San Clemente to check out the progress on Matt Powers' S14.

The very noticeable and highly controversial new engine has been a huge topic of discussion lately all over teh interwebz. Did our grassroots rockstar really swap out his KADE-T for an LS7 powerplant? He sure did, and he'll…
