Last Sunday marked the opening day for 2012 drift season at Pat's Acres Racing Complex, commonly known as PARC, hosted by Loki Motorsports. I've traveled the country more than ever, following the Formula Drift Series, and have even found my way overseas to Rudskogen, Norway for Gatebil and Tianjin, China for the World Drift Series. Off with the old and on with the new. As some of you may know, Justin and I recently picked up some new kicks for our cars. His 17x10.5 +11 Work VS-KFs and my 17x10.5 +11 Work VS-XXs would be the first proper set of wheels that our cars have worn. Justin wasted no time on converting his car to 5 lug. While under his car he increased his steering angle a lot more by throwing in some Cor Integration knuckles (chuckles) by John Corvinus, Tein tie rods, and a pair of steering… Read More
So after an amazing weekend of Drift Evolution and then a day in Willows California for Thunder Drift Rd. 4, Justin Shreeve and I made our way to Kent Washington for our first Extreme Drift Competition at Pacific Grand Prix. Justin and I made our way from Medford Oregon to Portland via Greyhound and then to Kent in his girlfriends Ford Focus. AYALA - Yeah! Drift Evolution starts again! This is the 4th round out of 6 this year. The event seems to bring more and more interest with every event, bringing drivers from all along the west coast.
