I got ahold of a photo album that belonged to my uncle Chas and chronicled his 1981 trips to New York, France, and San Francsico with his partner Jacques. Chas died in 1991 so this series is more for preservation than storytelling, though it does have some adventure behind it. I'll try my best to identify the subjects of the photos.

But when digging through a hard drive, they're the ones you keep coming across that make you say "Damn! This one is awesome!" These are those photos.

December 2010: On the remote northwestern tip of Maui, I waited in a light,…

What a year 2011 has been. It's been such a privilege to be a part of the Life Blasters crew, and I can't wait for what 2012 holds in store for us. My first Life Blasters post was on the PGP event in March, so I think I'll start with that. Jason Cancio has probably my absolute favorite car that drives that track. Not for its JDM radness, but for its pure originality. Stock metal, stock wheels, stock aero, slammed rwd STi hatch cannot lose.…

While we were all in LA for Irwindale, NBC came out to Larry's house to shoot an interview segment for their show
Real or Fake. Interviewer David Garte asked them all about their
Stuck video as the rest of us blasted them behind the scenes.

Here at Life Blasters we bring you a pretty wide variety of stuff. We're all photographers in the automotive industry, but this isn't about that. Sure we cover a lot of car events, but the essence of Life Blasting happens off the track, behind the scenes, on the way to or from an event, at your house, or on vacation. Life Blasting is about attacking life…

Like so many other important events, most people remember where they were when they heard about the planes hitting the twin towers. I lived in Washington at the time, not far from Seattle, and there were few people directly affected by the attacks, though my friend Suni and I were. Here's my story: Suni lives in Japan, but was a college student at Central…

If you're a serious photographer, chances are you've ordered stuff from B&H. Unlike most online stores, B&H actually has a real store you can go to. In fact, it's the biggest camera store in the world.

After FD New Jersey Joe and I planned on going to New York for a day. Shreeve mis-scheduled his flight so he got a new flight that allowed him to come with us! Awesome! We hitched a ride with some of the Kado crew on their way to JFK and they dropped us off at the Staten Island Ferry.
