Ah, the North American International Auto Show. The event that marks the beginning of my automotive year. All the lights, new cars, and being able to sit and run through the gears in just about any car you want is enough to make any auto enthusiast giddy. Let's take a look and what was going on inside Detroit's COBO Center. If there's ever a line for a car,… Read More
Julian Jacobs has been at it for quite a while, but we still haven't witnessed him going head to head with the Formula DRIFT field. Who would like to see that? We would! This video by Northern California resident Max Gemmel is a touching look into just some of the trials Julian has endured on his quest for the ultimate drift. Great job, Max.
Julian, we wish you the best of luck!

Before an image has been seen or a paragraph read, let it be known that each and every sentence, word, and syllable has been drawn from the deep, dark, and mysterious mind of a spawn of teh intarwebz. The mind of Kyle Pope. This is not a story or an article as much as it is the cerebral vomiting of a man who resides entirely online. Until now. What you are about to read is the recollection of a series of events that may not ever be repeated. Bash to the Future... -Shreeve Thursday… Read More
Every summer a whole bunch of racing enthusiasts meet at Laguna Seca for one of the coolest events of the year: the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. What makes this meet so good is that these enthusiasts happen to be fairly well off so they like to bring multi-million dollar historic race cars with them. You can find everything from the earliest wagon-wheel racers to classic formula cars to 60s production Porsches to 90s LeMans prototypes and everything in between. Read More
You ever have one of those moments where you just make a snap decision to go somewhere last minute? Well that's exactly how I ended up at East Coast Bash In New Jersey on a hot Saturday morning. Read More
After Formula DRIFT Round 2 I had a chance to talk with long time drifter Forrest Wang. Forrest has accomplished a lot over the years, but surprisingly has received little attention as a result. I can remember when I first saw him, it was at All Star Bash in 2008. He was making giant smoke clouds in his kouki-S14-fronted S13 coupe. The next year he was back in one of the cleanest drift cars anyone had seen, and… Read More
Road Atlanta is a lot of people's favorite track. Personally, I like it because of all the colors and the lack of fences. That makes it an easy place to shoot. It's a favorite for fans because of the layout. Instead of parking your car, walking hella far, and sitting in your seat, you can drive your car almost right up to the track, have a tailgate party, set up a canopy, bring your own chairs and a cooler, and chill. For the drivers, they like the fact that it's an actual road course as opposed to an oval or… Read More
May 6th, 2011, marked the first day drifting has ever been allowed on the Jackson County Sports Park kart track, located in White City, Oregon, since its opening in 1996. Having autocrossed on this track, in this very car, back in late '07, I've been chomping at the bit to drift here for quite a while. Thanks to a local European car club, RogueEuro.com, this dream became a reality. Read More
