With the 24 Hours of Le Mans coming up this weekend, we can take a look at the American Le Mans Series' cousin if you will, the Grand Am Series. Twice a year we make a trip down to Lexington, Ohio, home of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (more commonly known as Mid-Ohio Raceway). Luckily for us, it's only two and a half hours away and holds the Grand Am Emco Gears Classic, the ALMS Sports Car Challenge, and the Indy 200.

As if the awesomeness on Friday wasn't enough, I went back for more on Saturday! I was disappointed that it was no longer raining, but sun meant no cancelled sessions. I had World Challenge and Indy Lights practice to look forward too, as well as drifting, Indy practice, and qualifying, before the main event of the day: the American Le Mans race.

So after our little escapade down in Portland, Justin, Geoff and I woke up at the crack of noon, very hungover, packed our shit in Geoff's S14 (no homo) and jammed up for Seattle for the driftings! It was as uncomfortable as you think.
