Living in Oakland I'm just a short drive across the bay bridge and over the hills to the beaches of my hometown, Half Moon Bay.  Yesterday my friend enlightened me to the fact that there is a beach on the east side of the bay, and since it was hot and gross outside we went to Alameda to check it out.  It was a little bit smoggy, but the view was very interesting.  A beach with San Francisco in the background?  Awesome.    … Read More
