While digging through thousands (okay, hundreds maybe) of my photos from this year, I came upon this conclusion: I need to either take way more photos or stop altogether. That being said, here is a compilation of not the greatest photos, but rather the greatest moments of 2011 that I happened to capture with my picture taking device. Shown above is an upset Chinese toddler whose stupid mother purchased the wrong flavor instant soup.… Read More
Every year as the year comes to a close, Thunderdrift gives you one last chance to go drifting. This year's big year-end event was Sam Mercado's Tropical Hula Girl Drift, which consisted of Super-Am Round 4 on the Driftpad with open drifting and gripping sessions on the big track. Not a bad way to spend the last weekend before Christmas if you ask me. Read More
Things are starting to heat up in Super-Am! This round was the biggest this season and it was full of surprises including upsets, setups, let downs, rock crawling, and celebrity appearances. The first surprise was Joe! He decided to stop by and hang out on his way up to Medford for Thanksgiving. Aww, how sweet!… Read More
What I'll miss about metal quarter panels is rubbing off the excess sidewall when running fresh tires and seeing the looks on the faces of concerned pedestrians and drivers alike. I'll also miss occasionally being pushed down the highway by the likes of Joe Ayala or Geoff Pitts BECAUSE MISSILE CAR. The thing is, I'm starting to grow up (kinda) and my car is following suit and that's okay. Life sucks without change. Here's to a new generation of mine and Joe's cars. One filled with big lips, stretched… Read More
This week was pretty crazy. Not only was it the week before SEMA, which makes me really busy anyway, but there were two ThunderDrift events to go to. First was Super-Am Round 2 on Sunday followed by the Kris Hackenson Scary Halloween Drift on Tuesday. Read More

I decided not to write anything for this one. It's hard to write two stories about the same event, and there were a lot of good photos that wouldn't have fit that well. So I give you a Larry-Syle PhotoBlog. Read More
As I got into position for the Top 16 round, I spotted some awesome thunderclouds over toward Chico. It might have been nice to have some clouds over the track, as it was around 104ยบ by this time. Hey! Before you read any further, be sure you read Part 1 first!! Read More
As the halfway point in the season, Round 3 of the TD ProAm Championship was sure to be interesting. Would the points leaders widen their gap or would there be a huge upset? If points were missed there might not be enough to catch back up. Pro licenses would be on the line. It would be nail-biting edge-of-your-seat excitement to say the least. Read More
After what seemed like an eternity, the wait for TD ProAm Round 2 was finally over! Lex King was killing it in qualifying, ending up in the 4th position. Lex is a guy who's had some tough breaks, but he proves over and over again that he's tougher than the breaks are. Gabe Stone was a bit… Read More
With road trip season coming up, I can't help but be reminded of the fun times I've had on the road, and think about the fun times that are sure to come this year. To everyone who is making the trek out to Formula DRIFT, Allstar Bash, Kris Hackenson Halloween Drift, and all the other excellent events around the US, and the world for that matter, may you have a safe and enjoyable voyage! Cheers!
These days, I rarely have time to shoot at my own events. Today was a busy one to say the least, but I had to shoot a few because my Blaster Pal Joe Ayala loaned me his sweet 20mm F2.8 to run on my 20D. I could write a book about the event, but I'll let you check out ThunderDrift,… Read More
