Like the song by Rancid goes, “I’m back, I’m back, I’m back where I belong. I’ve been gone way too long and I’m back where I belong.”
After going to The Race of Gentlemen back in 2015 in Wildwood, New Jersey, I just had to go again in this year. After finding out they were also going to be a running the event on the West Coast I mentioned it to Bohan and he immediately suggested “Why not come for TROG and just check out […]
December 1st, 2014 I had moved back to New York, shot a few events and bought myself a new camera. But 2015 is when I became an official Life Blaster and things really started getting interesting. It was snowing in NY that March so my first event for the year I escaped the cold and went […]
On December 13th I found my way to the Jacob Javits Convention Center in NYC. This place has been one of the single biggest and sought-after locations for conventions, trade shows, and events since 1986. Popular events like the International Auto Show and Comic Con are held here every year.
We’re finally approaching the winter season and that usually means less car events. Luckily for me one day fellow Blaster Eric Delaney messaged me about this east coast event called “The Race of Gentlemen”, a.k.a. T.R.O.G, in Wildwood, NJ. Without hesitation I found the event website, watched a short video on the event and once […]
In past years I’ve always found myself with very few reasons to want to travel into New York City. Typically I’d hop on the LIRR for the 40 minute ride in for things like the NYC Auto Show. But last year I’ve made the decision to explore the world of two wheels, and I’m not […]
In a plain, unassuming building in a light industrial complex in Santa Clara facing the San Jose airport, there’s a manufacturing operation underway that’s changing the way people look at electric bicycles.
Another year of Life Blasting is over and what a trip it has been. From rally, to NASCAR, to drifting and sports cars. Unfortunately I couldn’t travel too far this year, but luckily the amount of events around the Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin area are some of the best in the country. For almost my […]
It’s amazing what word of mouth can do. While my dad and I were at our regular first Saturday of the month car show in Ypsilanti, we happened to start talking with a woman who said there also was a Ton Up show going on in town today. So of course, we knew we had to go check that […]
As I mentioned in my bit on The Modern Man a few months ago, Portland has a very unique and cohesive art aesthetic. Thor Drake and George Kassapakis wrapped their passion for motorcycles and love of coffee seamlessly into Portland’s art vibe and artisanal craftsman culture and came away with something special: See See Motor […]
Over the weekend I got willingly dragged out in the scorching Sacramento heat to catch some flat track motorcycle racing. Not just any racing, but an AMA national race that’s been going on since 1959, minus a few years known as the Sacramento Mile. This was the 48th running of the race and though there […]
Motorcycles were never really something I was into until a couple years ago. Many factors have contributed to my liking of them, whether it was growing older or just wanting to branch out to something different from cars; while my knowledge of them is still in its infancy I’m glad I’ve gained an interest in them.
In the recent past, I took a trip to Portland, Oregon, to visit my good buddy Joe Ayala. Another friend alerted me to the fact that there would be an awesome custom motorcycle show called the One Show happening there during my stay, so Joe and I checked it out!
