Goodwood. It’s one of those places that evokes dreams of race cars and exotics racing up a hill, or people dressed in period clothing watching some of the best historic racing anywhere in the world.
It’s mid to late December 2016 and I’m plotting and scheming what cool things I could do in 2017. There’s one big motorsport I still hadn’t seen and I desperately wanted to cross it off the list. WRC.
Final Bout is no doubt one of the best grassroots drift events in the Unites States, maybe even the world. The style, the camaraderie and the fact that people from all over North America hauled their cars to a small town in Wisconsin for drifting. But sadly, all good things must come to an end.
After attending the Goodwood Festival of Speed last year, my dad and I were determined to visit the Goodwood Revival. Little did we know, just one year after the Festival we’d be back in Chichester. We arrived in England on Friday and headed to the track. So just armed with one camera my 70-200mm lens, […]
2017 started off pretty slow, but the Midwest Drift Union started what turned out to be a pretty crazy couple months. A couple days after MDU, I found myself back in Ohio for one of my favorite races, the Eldora Dirt Derby.
As with any day or event, I usually try to start with a car show. With the car scene in Michigan always changing, you never know what might show up.
What happens when you mix race cars, drift cars, music and a few thousand people? Simple, Gridlife.
If you ever find yourself in or around Naples, Florida, do yourself a favor and plan a trip to the Revs Institute. I’ll just say it now, this is an incredibly wordy, history filled look through the collection. If you want to read more on their collection and see the other cars, check out their […]

Over the past few years I’ve really gotten into wheels. Their design, their purpose, and of course the cars they’re on. While I was walking around RM’s open house looking at all the different disciplines represented, I thought why not make a post with of all the wheels.
2016 is almost over and I went through the entire year without going to a single rally event. That was until I received a message from my friend Erin Kelly, a rally co-driver, asking if I was planning on going to some rally sprint on December 4th. The sprint was being held at Raceway Park in Englishtown, […]
Much like the North American International Auto Show is the season opener in the Detroit area, the RM Motorsports Holiday Open house marks the end of the season. Every December RM Motorsports opens their doors for their holiday open house. I can never miss visiting there because the cars that RM have in their collection are […]
For the fourth year in a row I made my way to Michigan’s Keeweenaw Peninsula for the final round of the Rally America National Championship. It is one of my favorite rallies and like most years the fall colors and the action didn’t disappoint.
I don’t know what my problem is, but it seems no matter where I go it rains. Usually it’s a little annoying dealing with rain, but when it’s the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Mid Ohio, it’s awesome.
I’ve wanted to do this story for awhile now, but never felt comfortable enough to do it. And there’s two reasons for that. One, it’s NASCAR. I know NASCAR doesn’t always get the best reputation with people because it’s boring or too repetitive. Another reason was because I’ve always gone as a spectator so my […]
