I finally got the opportunity to shoot Pikes Peak, and man, what an adventure. From waking up at 2 a.m. every day to climbing talus at 13,000+ feet to facing freezing wind and scorching sun, it was also the most physically draining event I’ve covered. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat.
