Drew and I have done a ton of traveling over the past year, and we’ve seen some really epic stuff. Here are my favorites.
Tilt-Shift shot looking over Drew’s shoulder out onto the legendary GMR Canyon in SoCal.
Long exposure looking out into Yosemite from Tioga pass.
Another long exposure shot. Can you see the stars moving in the background?
How ’bout now?
Late night film snapping in San Francisco
More fun night shooting, this time in Sacramento.
Left: Looking out of the Westfield in Sacramento. Right: A weird mini-mall in Oakland right after an awesome funk show.
We had Mexican food across the street from this spot.
We stopped by downtown LA on our way to Long Beach at 4:00AM to try out the tilt-shift.
…Later that day in Long Beach
Brenizer-stitch shot on our trip to Davenport, CA for a flickr group meet where we were supposed to meet around 100 other photographers to hang out and shoot. Drew and I never ended up finding those guys, but Davenport was jam packed with shooting opportunities, so we didn’t care.
Truckee, CA
LA Traffic. Blech!
Left: Seattle, WA with the 85mm F1.2L. Right: Outside my house, CA with the ’70s Nikkorr 105mm F2.5
Death Valley, CA
Bengal Kitten in Reno, CA
Jimi Hendrix statue in Seattle, WA
And finally, my hometown Half Moon Bay, CA.
