Last Saturday was Larry Chen’s Fourth Annual World Drift Series video premiere at his home in LA. On our way out to the festivities, Will Roegge and I rolled through the Phờ -filled Vietnamese capital of Los Angeles to pick up the wonderful Tyler Brian Money. AKA T-Money.
As we arrived on the scene, we were quickly and warmly greeted by the gorgeous Larry Chen. Pictured beside him is none other than the talented Alison Padron, who is currently raising funds for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. No great party would be complete without live tunes. John Jimison was holding it down AND having fun with his timeless Justin Bieber remixes.
Of course, many beers and other various alcoholic beverages were consumed to aid in the “Broing down.”
Here we seen Frederic Aasbro taking it a little too far and choking out Larry Chen. You can’t escape hands that big.
Matt wears his deep and undying love for Nate on his sleeve.
Matt’s inappropriate gesture leaves Tailyr feeling disgusted. Or pissed. Or both.
Upon hearing his name called out in a crowded room, Nate’s first reaction is of course fury and rage. But then he lol’d.
The OMGDrift Posse brought the much needed purple to the party. Here we see Justin Garnett’s reaction to a man wearing sunglasses indoors and at night, beside Ross Fairfield’s perfectly shaped fauxhawk.
Setting the camera down to take a leak proved to be a poor decision on my part, as I got blasted myself. Unfortunately, my invite to the pants party was denied. 🙁
While waiting for the magic hour to roll around, Larry took us up to his room to show us where he hangs out.
Not to be outdone by the boys, Tailyr climbed atop a wild Roegge and ascended the wall.
Before long, the clock struck eleven and the bodies began to pile into the living room for the big moment.
As Larry hit play, we all sat in wonder at the spectacle that was his new WDS video. With more pixels and penis than ever before, this years China video was quickly my favorite. I was laughing literally the entire way through. Get this uploaded, Larry!
As the party died down, Larry and I reminisced about our younger days as we watched our acting debuts in “The Goonies.”
