The following two days went by fairly fast. Most of our time we spent going to the big street markets to find some cool stuff to bring home. The big market we liked was a little too far to walk to, so we got courageous and headed to the streets to get some cabs.
Right in front of the gate entrance, there was this old dude selling some of the cutest puppies ever!!!
He had this little guy just placed on top of the cage to display, poor guy! It looked so uncomfortable. Plus, he was shivering his paws off because he was so cold, being as he was not in the box with all the other puppies.
I’m actually looking into getting a puppy in the next few weeks. Too bad I couldn’t bring one of these guys back home with me.
They had cats too, but I’m not as sympathetic to cats as I am to dogs.
We finally got to the heart of the market to get some shopping done.
But soon it was lunchtime.
Justin was pretty stoked to show off his new plastic hoodie vest. We bought ours in a pair, mine in red and his black.
Andrew spent most of the time working on American/Chinese international relations.
On the walk back to the hotel, we stopped at whats becoming everyone’s favorite juice stop.
Every one here rides bicycles, so it was pretty cool seeing this sweet little dirt bike amongst them.
We arrived to the hotel, and were greeted by the most terrifying person we’ve encountered on this trip so far! This dude would just walk right up to you, arms behind his back, and just death stare you. He wouldn’t look away or break his face. Everyone tried to face off against him, but couldn’t do it! He must have been high on something. When we all go into the elevator, which was tiny, he crammed himself in there with us and just stared. There was no way we could let the door shut on us so we bailed and let Josh take the solo ride up with him. That’s the last we saw of either of them.
Soon enough it was dinner time.
Justin hates seafood, and was not down to try the skewered octopus.
Then Justin took a poop in the ladies room. I’d kind of rushing through this post because I have Pt. 3 almost ready to go, but no one really reads these things anyways. Do they?
