Rich Kong is a longtime friend of the life blasters, Drew and I even went to his wedding, and that in its self is a crazy story. Anywho, every year we go out to dinner with 20 or 30 of Rich’s closest friends for his birthday. Last year was Korean BBQ, this year, Mexican.
Here’s me and Rich’s lovely wife Wendy, courtesy of Drew.
I was really disappointed with the quality of this Fuji 800. When you zoom in full size, the grains are so obvious, it looks like there’s gaps between them. Click on this pic to check out the full size version. You’ll see what I’m talking about.
Word to the wise: if you’re shooting cheap film, don’t go over 400.
On a more positive note, this shot from last Thursday’s Kelso Circle concert came out great! I was shooting with a piece of translucent blue vinyl I snagged from Lab17 over my flash, and it created some really cool effects.
