Buckey Laing has been a major name in the Vegas grassroots scene for almost two years. After an amazing show last season in his black FC buckey has come back with a super cherry red FC.
At VD Pro-am Jon Chase from DSTROYR asked if I could shoot Buckey’s car for his team drivers page. Two days later I’m at Get Nuts Labs which is run by Forrest Wang shooting on their track. Buckey has been one of my favorite Vegas drivers for a while now, and while he hasn’t been running Pro-Am this season he’s well on his way to his dreams. I mean look at how awesome this looks, and trust me if I was halfway as decent as Shreeve at videos I would of made one. But instead I did this….
WE WENT TO DQ! Which was the worst idea any of us had that day. Yes, ice cream on a hot day sounds amazing. Until you body gives you that gonna hurl feeling. But sitting here I saw the detail on Buckey’s shirt and it gave me the idea for the title photo.
I told Buckey there would be sparks but he had no idea how many. Don’t worry this doesn’t damage the paint but doesn’t it look BADASS!
So after seeing the results Buckey was super stoked (don’t let the face fool you) to do a car and driver shot with the sparks.
