FD Seattle! (Behind the Shreeves)

So after our little escapade down in Portland, Justin, Geoff and I woke up at the crack of noon, very hungover, packed our shit in Geoff’s S14 (no homo) and jammed up for Seattle for the driftings! It was as uncomfortable as you think.

Geoff was a very busy man this event. On top of his regular spotting duties for Ryan Kado, he was playing the lead man in a model photo shoot that Tram had set up. He was really excited to go out and purchase his new 5 in 1 reflector!

We soon arrived to a very wet Evergreen Speedway. Here is the newest member to the Life-Blaster circle jerk, Cole Chalmers. He’s Canadian! LifeBlasters has gone international!

It was really good to see ol’ friends again who were not able to make the last few events!

Bohan was especially excited for this event since he had all of his growing ups in Seattle! Good to be home, huh Drew?

This weekend was also special because it was the weekend where Pro-Am driver Mike Phillips confessed his undying love for Shreeve! <3

Hey Sully.

Rook at them baby brues!

Not a lot of driving happened during the practice day, so most everyone just packed up and hoped for better weather for the rest of the event. Mat Risher didn’t seem to bee too bummed about anything though.

The next couple of days, however, went by way too fast! The sun was out, and there were TONS of people!

It was nice to meet all the a lot of people face to face that we usually just talk to on the facebooks such as Troy Butler.

Whats awesome about Seattle being the only Formula Drift stop in the Northwest, is that we get to see a lot of friends from my hometown of Medford Oregon! Manny here brought the whole family up for the event!

Mr. Tumnus, why you look so hero shot?

I really wanted to help shoot the models at Ryan’s pit, but I ended up getting there right as everyone was wrapping up and heading on over to the autograph session.

Ryan was trying so hard to keep autographs serious. He just couldn’t take how much fun the girls were having.

I really enjoyed shooting the autograph session though.

So did Bohan.

And Geoff enjoyed creeping behind all the lovely ladies.

I <3 Yoshi.

There is that handsome fellow. Ross Fairchild.

Then it was back to another hard day at the office for Justin and me.

Bromance was definitely in the air up in the Pacific Northwest.

Yup! A whole post on Formula Drift without a single drifting photo, I’m rather proud of myself. Not to fret, I’m sure some of our other Blaster boy toys will be posting some soon. Or just check and see what Yoshi got threw together on the MotorMavens!
