Drift Evo Rd. 4

Off with the old and on with the new. As some of you may know, Justin and I recently picked up some new kicks for our cars. His 17×10.5 +11 Work VS-KFs and my 17×10.5 +11 Work VS-XXs would be the first proper set of wheels that our cars have worn. Justin wasted no time on converting his car to 5 lug. While under his car he increased his steering angle a lot more by throwing in some Cor Integration knuckles (chuckles) by John Corvinus, Tein tie rods, and a pair of steering rack spacers from George Marstanovic.

Along with new wheels, came new tires for Justin. He decided to stretch a pair of 215/40s Dunlop Direzza D1 Star Specs on his massive new wheels. That’s my iPhone sitting perfectly on the bead!

He was not disappointed with the new performance of his car!

Zak Abercrombie has recently been building his own knuckles as well. It may not show in this photo, but he has good bunch of angles in there.

I put in a pair of rack spacers to go with my knuckles as well.

This guy, Bon, came out for his very first drift event. He was driving his bone stock S13 with stock springs and an open diff. Over the course of the day, he was able to pick it up really fast! I was really impressed with his progression.

1st year  driver Matt Coffman has also been stepping up his game in his 300 something whp KA-T S13. I think he’s won every event in the beginner class this year.

Hey Matt! Maybe drive in the advanced class next event! <3

All of the tandems were had! Unfortunately I bent my new Tein tie rod on the last corner of a competition run.

I wasn’t able to get my car together before I met Justin in the final round for a Tandem of Die showdown, so Zak here let me use his car!

Justin and I went 3 more times before the judges called it and made him the weiner!

It had been a year since we drifted on this lot, so we thought we’d reenact a photo I took last year. Our little Shreeve is growing up! <3

Then Scotty and Shane joined in!

Fuzz caught my camera laying around unattended so he thought he’d try his hand at photography. He’s not very good.

Until next time, Drift Evo!
